Simple tips to get that 4.0!
College seems terrifying when a lot of college students say that it is and that it's impossible to get a 4.0 with all the pressure. However, I tell you that it's not true. You can still have the grade that you want and manage to juggle your academics with orgs and partying with just a few tips!
1. Choose a nice professor. I know this might be quite an odd suggestion but it really does work! There are some professors that just want you to suffer by giving you mountains of homework, papers, reports, etc. and still fail you without any mercy. Those type of profs are the ones that you want to avoid. Having a chill prof will give you extra time to spend on your other subjects and other extra curricular activities. Do yourself a favor by asking your seniors on how a particular professor is, that way, you'll know how he/she is in the classroom.2. Have friends you want to work with. Now this is tricky, since some of your good friends are not "worthy" groupmates. However, you have to understand that college is just the first step of being independent. You can't always rely or help your friends, and they can't always rely or help you. You need to have friends that you know will do their part well. However, also make sure that you are a worthy groupmate. You wouldn't want others to neglect you as well, right? Having good friends who you want to work with will help you bear a subject a lot easier, trust me!

3. Choose a good schedule. Having a good schedule is really important. You wouldn't want to have to stay up all night trying to finish all of your school work and wake up early for a 7AM class, would you? Try to have a schedule that does not only fit your academics and extra curricular activities, but your personal life as well!
4. Do your homework and class exercises. This may be quite a hassle, but this will help you for sure! Doing your homework and class exercises will improve your understanding of your lessons and will also help retain what you've learned in your memory for longer periods. If you do this, this will lessen your review time for tests, and if you have a lot school work on your hand, this will surely be helpful!
Having a great grade doesn't necessarily mean that you are smart. Sometimes, you just have to be resourceful. These may be just a few simple tips but these will surely help you get that 4.0!
