JOSE MARI CH...RISTMAS?

If you live in the Philippines, you'll know that it's already Christmas season when you hear the lyrics, "Whenever I see girls and boys selling lanterns on the streets..." in any place you possibly go. Any Filipino would know that this song is the famous, "Christmas in our Hearts" by the one and only, Jose Mari Chan. 

Jose Mari Chan is a Chinese-Filipino musician that has long historical music career. His first single, "Afterglow" was released in 1967 and his next songs were mostly ballad. It wasn't until 1990 that he released the album, "Christmas in Our Hearts", which sold for over 20 million units, earning the Double Diamond Record Award in 1995. Ever since then, this song was engraved in our hearts and we would not feel the Christmas spirit without hearing this song. However, "Christmas in Our Hearts" is not the only Christmas song that was made by Jose Mari Chan. In fact, there are more songs that will surely bring out your inner child every Christmas!
